Memory is a space-time to which it’s sometimes difficult to return to.
In an attempt to undo a habitual gesture, to dig up what’s underneath, to return somewhere and to return something, Matilde Gazeau Fraide confronts mourning, her own dust, what remains and has been concealed. Showing what is hidden away is equally as important as showing.
