In the group exhibition Unless I’m Mistaken, Matilde Gazeau Frade presents the current status of A casa que eu amei (2026), an ongoing research project focused on the home. Starting with traces of everyday life—a shared loaf of bread, a children’s accordion with cracks, pots for sprouting seeds—the project draws on memories to culminate in an exploration of the sounds of her first home, located in central Portugal.
